Who is killing middle-aged men around Sweden?

The horrific sex murder of a middle-aged man is the start of a tough, almost bizarre police investigation. Before long, Sanna Johansson and her team, realize this is a far from straightforward investigation. The entire crime scene has been decontaminated and they soon discover a connection with several unsolved killings across the country, where the methods used were identical and no clues were left behind...

IMPACT is available on Amazon and other online bookstores.

A gritty crime drama/thriller

In the quiet suburb of Djursholm in Stockholm a young woman is brutally beaten to death. Criminal Inspector Sanna Johansson and her team are assigned to investigate the case, which leads them directly into the exclusive salons of the Swedish upper class.

DESPAIR is a gritty crime drama/thriller about human relationships and the violence happening right across society. It is the first stand-alone book in Power Trilogy.

Despair is available on Amazon and other online bookstores.

POWER TRILOGY – A dark trilogy about women's vulnerability in a modern society. The first book, DESPAIR, is based on decades of thoughts about women's underlying causes of women's vulnerability, and the role of the children as the invisible victims. My interest in thorough research, which has always been a natural part of my way of working, made me discover new subjects that led to the writing of the two subsequent books, IMPACT and MISERY, (Misery is being translated and will be available soon.)

The books are raw and to some extent dark, but they also show how the power of sole individuals and smaller groups can make a big difference.

MISERY - coming soon...

Time goes quick and sometimes I feel like it is difficult to cope with all the issues that involves being a self-published author, I’m a one-man band where I do everything, and I mean everything, myself. I don’t just write the books, but I make my own book covers, design my own website and trailers, and book marketing and so on…

Anyway, I just want to tell you guys that Power Trilogy’s third book – Misery – will be released at the end of the year. That is the plan.
Among other things I’ve been working with Misery’s book cover. I hope you like it :)

Said about Power Trilogy:

Swedish readers comments about Power Trilogy (Makttrilogin)

DESPAIR: "Despair is a gripping story from the first page. The reader is taken on a journey not only for the murder of a woman in Djursholm, but also on a journey that describes a reality for many vulnerable women today. It is a story of violence in everyday life, about female revenge, about the hidden victims of youth rebellion with the help of social media and traditional protests ... ... but I could not put it down and read the entire stretch on a weekend. Recommend!"
/ Boktipset Lorenna G.

IMPACT: "Of all the mystery independent  publishers in Sweden, Lourdes Daza Gillman must be one of the most promising. She writes with great authority: her strong commitment pulses also through the other police novel about colleagues Sanna and Donald in Stockholm Criminal ... ..."
/ Culture journalist Bengt Eriksson.

VANVETT (The book is under translation): "Daza-Gillman writes with such intensity that I had to put down my book and catch my breath. For what she narrates is terrible.
Realism? Fiction? How much of either? ... "
/ Deckarlogg - Bengt Eriksson
